Good sleep, don't eat
Spent one night in Indy and wanted to stay downtown. The Embassy was recently renovated and is spotless. the hotel room was quiet and the furnishings were all brand new and first rate. The walkway to the Circle Center Mall kept us from having to walk outside in the cold. The breakfast, however, was a circus: it was like a cattle call and the few choices of food were not being replenished fast enough for the number of people. Also, the parking garage is cramped. We would stay here again in addition have breakfast somewhere else.
Bad Experience
Overall, our visit was an awful experience. the property was too loud to sleep. There was no hot water and the help did not respond to call for service. On top of that, we awoke the following day with several insect bites.
Good Choice
Impressed by this property. Arriving late we ordered hotel room service. The prices and quality were significantly above expectations. All personnel were helpful and pleasant. A couple of special requests were handled satisfactorily. Would not hesitate staying here again.
Good Hotel
The Embassy Suites was a convenient location located directly downtown within walking distance of everything, including a connection to the mall. hotel room service was excellent. The lobby was inviting. The hotel rooms were spotless and organized, in addition should be renovated soon. would stay here again.
Great Place to Stay
Our accommodations were nice -- plenty of room/clean. The food/drink provided for cocktail hour/breakfast was always replenished & service was good. Loved being connected to City Walk -- never having to go outside during the day time hours. There was a long wait time for the elevators for both the property and the parking garage. The parking garage does not accommodate large vehicles well, in addition other than that, no complaints. The location is close to the mall, the RCA Dome and local clubs for evening entertainment.
